5 Top Tips for Motivational Beliefs for Personal Success

It’s Pancake Day! Many of us will indulge today and then mark the start of Lent tomorrow by giving up certain indulgencies and luxuries for 40 days until Easter Sunday. Whatever people give up or choose to abstain from – be it for Lent or for any other reason – it can sometimes be difficult to stay motivated.

However, by developing effective motivational beliefs you will recognise your responsibility to creating the life you want, and to building the life you’ve dreamed of.

If you choose to live by these 5 motivational beliefs, you’ll learn how to recognise the power and influence you have to control your destiny:-

  1. Passion

“I can take my passion with me wherever I go.”

You don’t only have to be passionate about the things you love in life.

Instead, you can choose to be a passionate person who brings passion wherever you go.

Behave passionately whether you’re cleaning the bath or speaking to an auditorium full of people.

  1. Attitude

“I control my attitude.”

A lot of things in life aren’t within your control.

You can’t control your past, how other people behave or how the world works.

You CAN, however, choose to control your attitude about it.

Choosing to have a positive attitude when things go wrong speaks volumes about your character.

If you don’t like something, change it. If you don’t change it, change the way you think about it.

  1. Make it work

“I can find a way to make things work”

A motivational belief that keeps you from giving up can help you gain success in all areas of y our life.

Often things don’t go the way we want for the first time around. Sometimes it takes perseverance and many attempts to get things right.

If you resolve to find a way to make things work, then you’ll look for ways to overcome obstacles until you reach your goal.

  1. Hurt & Pain

“Hurt and pain can make me stronger.”

Hurt and pain are inevitable in life. That’s the reality.

If you waste time complaining that life isn’t fair, or you try to play the role of the victim, you won’t reach your full potential in life.

Use the pain and hurt you’ve experience to become a stronger person. When you’ve experienced deep sorry you’ll be able to appreciate happiness.

  1. Stay committed

“I must stay committed to see results.”

Change doesn’t happen overnight.

Adopting a motivational belief that reinforces the need for commitment can help you stay on track even when you don’t see immediate results.

Whether you’re saving money to pay off debt or trying to lose weight, it takes time and hard work to reach your goals.

“The only limit to your impact is your imagination and commitment,” Anthony Robbins)

“Commitment is an act, not a word” (Jean-Paul Sartre)
